Pregnancy Massage — Add-On to Maternity Reflexology

Pregnancy massage can be added to any maternity reflexology session for women in their second or third trimester.

It is not offered as a standalone treatment. Combined with reflexology, it extends the physical and nervous system benefits of the session — addressing muscular tension, postural strain, and the physical demands of a growing body in a way that a single modality cannot.

Pregnancy massage uses adapted techniques and positioning to ensure comfort and safety throughout. Common areas of focus include the lower back, hips, shoulders, and legs — the areas that carry the most load during pregnancy.

It is particularly useful for women experiencing:

Lower back pain and pelvic discomfort
Tight hips and leg cramps
Shoulder and upper back tension
Fluid retention in the legs and feet
General physical fatigue

Reiki — Add-On to Maternity Reflexology

Reiki can be added to any maternity reflexology session at any stage of pregnancy, including the first trimester.

It is not offered as a standalone treatment. Within a combined session, Reiki works at the level of the nervous system and emotional body — supporting calm, reducing anxiety, and creating the conditions for deeper rest. For women carrying significant stress, or moving through a difficult or anxious pregnancy, it can be a valuable addition to the physical work of reflexology.

Reiki is a non-invasive, hands-on or hands-off energy therapy. Nothing is required from the client other than to remain still and comfortable. It can be received at any point during pregnancy without adaptation.

It is particularly useful for women experiencing:

Pregnancy anxiety or fear around birth
High stress or emotional overwhelm
Difficulty sleeping or switching off
A need for deeper rest within the session
